Apparently I Write Erotic Romance
Born Again Virgin has been reviewed again. Love Romances and More's Mandie has given it 5 hearts, which is fabulous news. I'm always happy when someone likes something I've written. Here's a snippet:
Thanks Mandie!
Interesting to note that according to their category system on the website, Love Romances and More has billed this book as an erotic romance. This is the second review site that has done this, even though Samhain Publishing didn't consider it one of their redhots! It just goes to show that erotic is really a matter of opinion. Samhain classifies their redhots! on the basis of the quantity of the sex scenes per the word count, whereas I suppose other people might go on intensity of the ones that are there, or possibly use of language. Was it my use of the f word, the c word (not that c word, the other one), or just the general explicitness that lead to this?
In any case, with Born Again Virgin being classified as erotic and Fijian Fling being a short erotic romance, apparently to the world at large I am an erotic romance author.
Do you think I should write that next time I have to put my occupation down on a form? Someone at the tax office might get a kick out of it.

"BORN AGAIN VIRGIN is amazing! Not just the heat between KD and Kelsey but also the emotional roller coaster that they take the reader on makes this book impossible to put down... ...The sexual tension between KD and Kelsey couldn’t have been turned up any higher! This reviewer particularly enjoyed the way the author subtly showed differences between the two men in Kelsey’s life... none were more obvious than when KD would take control in the bedroom! Sami Lee is a very talented author and this reviewer cannot wait to read more of her work!" |

LOL, please please put down Erotic Romance Author. I've recently been filling in evil, school waiting-list applications (they want a reference from my Minister - my Minister???). I'd so love to put down Erotic Romance Author as my occupation!
